Bollywood Work.
Whole Look Analysis.
I really enjoyed learnign about another cultures makeup looks, here I kept the eyes soft with bold liner and the lips a traditional red. Looking at these images using powder in the brows was not the best choice of product, they were not defined enough like the bollywood brows are. A pencil of cream would have been better suited.
The skin looks very smooth and even tone which reflect the bollywood culture really well so this fitted the breif well, however next time I need to apply contour a little stronger down the nose as it gets lost in the face. This would tie my look together making it appear more finished.
Individual Analysis.
Advanced liner.
I found creating a winged eyeliner look on melissa really hard to get even on both eyes, As you can see the right eye liner angle is more downwards which changes the shape of the eye making it look more closed and small. The left eye angle is alot better however I could have gone more extreme with the length. I also need to learn to steady my hand as the line is rather shakey especially towards the inner eye.
Lips.
Naturally her top lip is alot thinner and shorter than her bottom, her I followed her lip line, looking back to achieve a balanced look I need to under draw her bottom right side of th elip to match the left and add a little more tp the sides on the top lip. The colour really suited her skin tone but I think for a traditional look a more brick red would be appropriate.
