Evaluation of Alginate.

Over all the technique of wiping the alignate across the face I found worked well, working methodically to make sure all areas are covered properly made it the experience alot more carming for the model as they knew exactally wheat order they will be covering in. The only thing I would change to my application is applying more to the eyes as looking at the images you can see the detail of her eye and the brow bone thickening the layer of aliginate here will hold the shape better when removed of the face. The alignate mix had a few lumps this shows that hadn't been mixed properly. so next time I will mix it and work quicker and slightly longer to remove the lumps. Liv and I worked well in the working time we had with the mix we did everything excepth the septum on the noseas the alignate had started to go off and become unusable, but over all as a team we worked very efficiently.

Plaster Bandage application evalutaion.

I found the part I struggled to put the plaster bandage was alog the underside of the chin as I found it kept sliding this is properably down to me soaking it in water too long making it too watery to skick to the alignate so to correct it I need to dry out slightly before putting on to the face or not leaving it in the water to long. But over all it was a good sturdy case to hold the alignate and when filling with plaster it held really well. The nose was cover with the plaster bandage once the cast had been removed from her face as covering it whilst on the face means the model would not have been able to breathe.
