I havd decided through my intial research that I wanted to focus on the little mermaid as my animation that I was going to develop into a film and theatre show. From this I have chosen 3 characters from Disney's The Little Mermaid:

 

Ariel - I want to recreate our vision on ariel by giving it a historical influence and more subtle colours for the film context.

 

For theatre I want to go big with textures, colours focsuing on the hair as the key point in her look.

 

Sebastian - Here I have a challenge as for the film context I want to create him like a crab but in human form so there are only small influences/hints that overall give you a sense of his crab origin.

 

For theatre I want to make sebastian very comical looking and bright.
