Analysis.

I was really pleased with how this cam together as I have only practised individual features. The flower crown worked really well and from different angles you see the different levels and it becomes more interesting. I decided on in the end to go with the beach waves which add another layer of texture against the flower crown.

I love the glow in her skin this was something I didn't want to over power her look but it needed to be strong enough so she didn't look shiny as if she had oily skin, and it worked really well i love the angelic glow it gives to her face reflect her innocenece.

On reflection the blue of the left eye isn't blended as high as the right which is ashame. But the liner, darker tones and blusher are equally distributed which balances out the look.

The lips were the most fustrating part as one side is naturally fuller so I had to over draw on the other, something I have been trying to become more confident at for a long time. I think I achieved this well miniking the shape but the right point could be slightly higher.

Overall I am really happy with this makeup and believe it translates well for the context.

Analysis.

The focal point of this piece is the hair and I am really pleased with the overall outcome. The flat finger waved texture agains the bigger roller curls crashing agains the crab minic the movement I was aiming to achieve so the crab looked like it was sitting amoungst water. I am happy with how the waves backcombed and pinned against the back of the crab immitated crashing waves well which pulled the hair to finsih it off.

The improvement to the hair I would improve it pulling it so it sat more forward so it looked bigger against the waves(blue hair).

I took inspiration from the 1st bodypainted waves to recreate the movemtn and I am really happy with the outcome. I didn't want to have a traditional wave patteren so this broken up look works really well and I think from afar it translates well for theatre. I could have used an even darker shade to add more depth but I feel this may have made the look to 'muddy' something I was trying to avoid.

Analysis.

I think these makeup's work really well in their own right but as a collection they enhance each other, the red in the hair pieces isn't too much it just ties in the look. I think they clearly reflect the points taken from Hans Christan Anderson's text. From here I am going to edit the photos to create my final poster images.
